Tenda MX12 is a set consisting of 3 wireless routers. The devices are designed to operate in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, in accordance with the standards IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5 GHz (Wi-Fi 6 ). It uses 2x2 MIMO, 160 MHz wide channels and high modulation, thanks to which the maximum theoretical throughput is 3000 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz. In addition to speed, the Wi-Fi 6 standard also brings other useful features - MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmission and reception of data from multiple clients, which removes the phenomenon of transmission queuing), Beamforming (beamforming to improve coverage) and WPA3 encryption. The MX12 uses 3 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), the first of which can work as WAN or LAN, and the others only as LAN. The devices work together in a Mesh network and communicate with each other wirelessly. This eliminates the need for additional Ethernet cables to connect individual MX12s together. This type of network is visible under one name (SSID), moving around the house, the routers automatically choosing the connection that will be best for you at the moment. When switching from one point to another, you shouldn't experience any drops in bandwidth.

Wi-Fi 6 AX3000

The device supports the Wi-Fi 6 wireless network, supports the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 3000 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz. The access point has a powerful 1.7 GHz quad-core processor that ensures smooth and trouble-free operation. MX12 supports higher wireless speeds than AX1800 or Wi-Fi 5 solutions.

160 MHz bandwidth

Tenda MX12 in the 5 GHz band supports Wi-Fi transmission channels up to 160 MHz wide. Thanks to this, it is possible to achieve a throughput of 2402 Mb / s, which is twice as much as in devices using 80 MHz. Such a speed allows comfortable use of Internet resources, even in demanding situations, such as movies with very high resolution.

Mesh system

The offered product is a set consisting of 3 MX12 devices. The access points are adapted to work in the Mesh network - they communicate with each other wirelessly, without the use of additional Ethernet cables. Using such a set, you can cover a very large area with Wi-Fi, e.g. in large houses. An additional advantage is the efficient, built-in signal amplifiers and the Beamforming function (beam shaping). Thanks to them, the signal is stable and provides good coverage, without dead zones.

One SSID

All Tendy MX12 advertise together one network, which is visible under one name. You don't have to switch between access points or choose a working band. The system will decide which connection will be best for you at the moment. An additional advantage is compatibility with 802.11 k/v standards, which ensure smooth data roaming - when switching between different MX12s, you will not feel any drops in bandwidth.

Plug & play

The devices have an automatic connection function - after connecting one to the power and internet source, the next MX12 will automatically connect to it, without the need for additional configuration. Access points communicate with each other wirelessly, you do not need to connect them with Ethernet cables.

Management application

There is an application for Android / iOS mobile devices, thanks to which you can configure the MX12 and have access to a live view of network operation. The application also facilitates remote management in a situation where you are not connected to the local network. If necessary, you can use the traditional management panel available in the form of a graphical web interface.

3 gigabit Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Mb/s

Each of the MX12 has 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports, the first one can be used as WAN or LAN, and the others as LAN only. The use of several Ethernet ports extends the capabilities of access points. You can connect the most important devices (such as Smart TV / console) or those without Wi-Fi support (eg PC) with a cable.

MU-MIMO and OFDMA

MU-MIMO technology allows simultaneous transmission and reception of data from multiple clients. Thanks to it, the phenomenon of data queuing disappears, you will feel the difference in transmission especially with many connected client devices. Up to 160 clients can be connected to Tendy MX12 at the same time.

Compatible with Amazon Alexa

Tenda MX12 is compatible with Amazon Alexa, you can control the system with voice commands.
