Description

CWDM Mux / Demux Module

The offered product is a module designed to work as a Mux/Demux in CWDM technology. It can combine or split the signal from 8 CWDM transceiver slots and transmit it using only 2 optical fibers. This type of module should be used on both sides of the connection.

8 channels, LC/UPC, expansion slot

The device supports 8 transmission channels: 1450 / 1470 / 1490 / 1510 / 1530 / 1550 / 1570 / 1590 nm. The appropriate transceivers compatible with these channels must be connected to the Mux. The transmission input/output is via the COM connector. All ports have duplex LC/UPC connectors and are designed for single-mode fibers.

Additionally, the Mux features an expansion slot (marked as EXP) where you can connect the UACC-CWDM-4 to add 4 more channels. In total, you can achieve 12 channels in the range of 1270 - 1590 nm.

Rack 19" chassis

The Mux is housed in a chassis designed for 19" Rack mounting. You can mount the product directly beneath the switch(es) containing the transceivers without the need for additional shelves or enclosures.
