Enterprise Series UniFi Cloud Gateway

The offered product is a UniFi Cloud Gateway designed for deployment within the UniFi ecosystem. It combines the functionality of a router, controller, and firewall in a single appliance. Powered by a 24-core ARM processor clocked at 2.5 GHz and equipped with 32 GB of RAM, it is engineered for very large-scale networks. It supports up to 2,250 UniFi devices and up to 22,500 concurrent users.

Unlike standard UniFi Cloud Gateways, the EF-Core cannot be managed remotely using a CloudKey, UniFi Hosting, or a UniFi OS Server. It runs UniFi Network locally on its internal storage and functions as the network console.

100 Gb/s Connectivity

The device is equipped with four QSFP28 (100 Gb/s) ports, four SFP28 (25 Gb/s) ports, and eight 10G Ethernet ports. It supports up to eight WAN interfaces with full support for WAN failover, load balancing, and traffic distribution. By default, one QSFP28 port, one SFP28 port, and one 10G Ethernet port are configured as WAN interfaces. The maximum IDS/IPS throughput reaches 79 Gb/s. The EF-Core enables you to build a high-bandwidth network backbone, providing outstanding performance for demanding enterprise network environments.

Advanced Security Features

The EF-Core provides advanced security capabilities, including SSL Inspection, which decrypts encrypted traffic to identify potential threats. It detects and blocks attacks in real time, helping to ensure the security of the entire network. The appliance also supports secure VPN connections and SD-WAN functionality without requiring any additional licenses.

High Availability

The Cloud Gateway is engineered for continuous operation, minimizing downtime and ensuring maximum network availability. The device supports Shadow Mode (VRRP), allowing you to deploy two identical EF-Core appliances in a high-availability configuration with automatic failover in the event of a hardware failure. The EF-Core is equipped with redundant fan modules and power supply modules, all of which support hot-swappable replacement, enabling maintenance without interrupting system operation.
