Tenda A27 is a Wi-Fi range extender designed to work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. Supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard, including IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5 GHz. The maximum theoretical throughput is 1800 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mb/s in 5 GHz. The Wi-Fi 6 standard brings many features to improve the wireless network, including MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmitting and receiving data from multiple clients, which eliminates the phenomenon of transmission queuing), Beamforming (beamforming to improve coverage) and WPA3 encryption. For full performance, you need to use devices that also support Wi-Fi 6, but the A27 is backwards compatible with older solutions. An additional advantage is 1 gigabit Ethernet port and access point mode, if necessary, the offered product can also broadcast the network and act as an AP. The basic functionality (range extender) is used to strengthen the existing Wi-Fi network in order to improve its range and eliminate dead zones. The device plugs directly into the electrical outlet, without the use of additional cables. 2 external omni-directional antennas are responsible for the wireless connection, each of them has a gain of 5 dBi.
Wi-Fi 6 AX1800 wireless network
The device is compatible with the Wi-Fi 6 standard, can work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5 GHz. Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender
The main function of the A27 is to strengthen the existing wireless network. Compatibility with Wi-Fi 6 means that it can work even with modern routers. After a correct connection to the A27 network, it extends its range, thanks to which the signal reaches even remote users. The device is perfect for large apartments and multi-storey houses. If you want to improve the transmission range, you do not need to replace the main router, just use the appropriate signal amplifier. An additional advantage are external omnidirectional antennas with an energy gain of 5 dBi. They provide a much better range than the integrated antennas used in competitive solutions.
Simple installation
You can configure the amplifier using the application available for mobile devices with iOS / Android. You need to connect to the network generated by A27 and then install it in a few simple steps. An additional advantage is the WPS button, which additionally speeds up the configuration process. Just press WPS on the router and then on the signal booster, after a few moments the devices will connect together without any additional installation process.
Universal LED
The LED indicates the current connection status, blue means good connection, orange normal and red too weak. Such information makes it much easier to place the device in the right location. Make sure the extender has good access to the network, otherwise it will extend a low-quality network and you won't get good results.
Unified Wi-Fi name
The device works in two radio bands, but the broadcast Wi-Fi network is visible under one name. You don't have to wonder which connection to choose, A27 will choose the band that will be best for you at the moment and provide the highest throughput.
Gigabit Ethernet port
The use of a gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s) allows you to fully use the speed offered by the wireless interface. Using this port, you can connect the most demanding devices (such as a console or Smart TV) or those that do not have wireless communication (eg a PC) with a cable. Thus, the A27, in addition to the signal amplifier, can also act as a client.
Access Point Mode
The offered product can also work in access point mode. Configured in this way, it will advertise its own wireless network in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. This is a useful functionality in a situation where you have a cable router and need a wireless network or want to create an additional private network.
