The fiber optics are scrolled with the help of a professional, dedicated tool - the cable is accurately wound on a new roll, after which it is properly secured. Flat, self-supporting optical fiber cables with 1, 2 or 4 G.652D fibers are available now. The external dimensions are 5.2x2 mm, the shell is made of LSZH material. The cables have been reinforced with two FRP rods with a diameter of 0.4 mm and a support element with a 1 mm thick steel or FRP bar. The cables are small in size and are sold on comfortable rolls to facilitate installation. Ideally suited for use in aerial fiber networks.
