Description

The TP-Link EAP683 UR is an access point designed for use in the Omada system. It can transmit a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network, utilizing the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols on the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax on the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 1148 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 4804 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band. Such high speeds are achievable thanks to the use of 4x4 MIMO, which provides double the throughput of standard Wi-Fi 6 solutions. It features a wide coverage area with integrated omnidirectional antennas, offering a gain of 4 dBi for 2.4 GHz and 5 dBi for 5 GHz. The device can support up to 510 client devices, making it ideal for environments with many users. It is equipped with a 2.5G Ethernet port, which also includes a PoE+ (802.3at) power input. Alternatively, power can be supplied via a DC jack. The housing is designed for wall or ceiling mounting, with the default mounting position being the ceiling.

The device is designed to operate within the Omada ecosystem. This system allows for centralized management of multiple access points to create a unified, extensive wireless network. As you move between different devices, you will be automatically switched without losing your Wi-Fi connection. Omada provides many advanced features for network configuration and maintenance. It is a solution dedicated to professional use in offices, restaurants, schools, universities, and markets.

Wi-Fi 6 AX6000

The access point can transmit a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network, using the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols on the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax on the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 1148 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 4804 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band. These high speeds are achieved through the use of 4x4 MIMO technology. The device provides twice the throughput of standard AX3000 solutions.

1x 2.5G Ethernet, PoE+

The device is equipped with a 2.5G Ethernet port, which allows you to fully utilize the capabilities offered by the wireless interface. The 2500 Mb/s throughput provides significantly greater performance than standard access points equipped with 1G Ethernet ports. The Ethernet port also serves as a PoE+ (802.3at) power input, with a maximum power consumption of 20.43 W. Alternatively, you can use a standard 12V DC power adapter. The power adapter is not included in the package, so it must be purchased separately, or you can use a PoE switch.

Up to 510, ceiling / wall mounting

The offered product can handle up to 510 clients connected simultaneously. It is ideal for locations with many users, such as conference rooms. The enclosure is designed for ceiling or wall mounting, and the necessary accessories for installation are included in the package.
