16 channels (8 Mpix), 2x SATA, H.265+

The IP video recorder (NVR2016H) is designed to support up to 16 channels with a maximum resolution of 8 MP per channel. It offers a bitrate capacity of up to 160 Mbps for both input and output, ensuring smooth video recording and playback. The device features two SATA ports, each supporting hard drives with a maximum capacity of 16 TB, allowing for a total storage capacity of 32 TB when both slots are utilized. Please note that hard drives are not included in the package and must be purchased separately.

The NVR2016H uses H.265+ compression, which significantly reduces the size of recorded video files without compromising quality. With a total bitrate capacity of 160 Mbps, this allows you to connect up to 16 cameras, each with a bitrate of up to 10 Mbps. This ensures efficient storage management while maintaining high-quality video recordings for all connected cameras.

Interfaces

The NVR2016H is equipped with one gigabit Ethernet port for network communication. For video output, it features two independent ports: HDMI and VGA. The HDMI port supports high-resolution playback of up to 3840 x 2160 pixels, ensuring clear and detailed video display. This setup allows for flexible monitoring options, making it easy to connect to different display devices as needed.

The NVR2016H features a total of 6 alarm inputs and 4 alarm outputs, allowing for the connection of various cameras to handle different types of alarms. Additionally, it is equipped with 1 audio input and 1 audio output for enhanced audio monitoring capabilities. For connectivity, the device includes 2 USB ports: one USB 3.0 port located at the back and one USB 2.0 port at the front, providing convenient options for external devices and storage. This comprehensive array of inputs and outputs enhances the versatility and functionality of the NVR for various surveillance applications.

Rack 19", DC power supply

The NVR2016H is designed for installation in a standard 19" rack, with a height of just 1U, making it suitable for space-constrained environments. It features a DC input socket, and comes with an external power supply rated at 12 V DC / 3.3 A. The maximum power consumption of the NVR itself is 7.48 W. However, the total power consumption will vary depending on the number and type of hard drives installed, as well as the PoE load from connected devices. This flexibility allows the NVR to accommodate different setups while maintaining efficient power usage.

VIGI system

The device is designed for use within the TP-Link VIGI system, but thanks to ONVIF protocol support, you can also connect cameras from other manufacturers to the recorder. You can manage the monitoring through the intuitive VIGI Security Manager software available for PC. Configuration access is also possible directly from the recorder by connecting a mouse and monitor. Additionally, there is a mobile app available for Android and iOS devices.
