The Ubiquiti Enterprise NVR Core is an IP network video recorder designed for use within the UniFi ecosystem, supporting UniFi Protect, Access, and Connect. It features 16 drive bays for 2.5" and 3.5" SSDs/HDDs and can support up to 500 HD cameras, 400 2K cameras, or 300 4K cameras. It is engineered for deployment in very large networks and the most demanding environments. The device is housed in a 19-inch rack-mountable chassis (3U height) and comes with two hot-swappable power supply modules that can operate in a redundant configuration. Network connectivity is provided through two 25 Gb/s SFP28 ports, ensuring high-bandwidth communication and eliminating concerns about local network throughput. The Enterprise NVR Core delivers exceptional performance with a 128-core ARM processor running at 2.6 GHz and 64 GB of RAM. An additional advantage is the inclusion of Expansion ports, which allow you to connect Enterprise Storage Expansion units for increased storage capacity with additional hard drives.

16 Drive Bays

The enclosure features 16 drive bays compatible with both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch HDDs or SSDs. The Enterprise NVR Core supports RAID 5, RAID 6, and RAID 10 configurations, providing reliable data protection and storage redundancy. It is recommended to use drives with a minimum capacity of 1 TB, CMR (Conventional Magnetic Recording) support, and a rotational speed of at least 7,200 RPM.

Two Expansion Ports

The rear panel features two dedicated Expansion ports that allow you to connect Enterprise Storage Expansion 16 units, enabling additional storage capacity with more hard drives. By connecting two UACC-ESE-16 expansion units, the system can support a total of up to 48 drives.

2 AC Power Modules

The package includes two 550 W AC power supply modules. They are designed for redundant operation so you do not have to worry about a failure of one of them. Both modules are hot-swappable, allowing you to replace them without interrupting the operation of the device.

SFP28 Slots (25G)

The recorder is equipped with two SFP28 slots, each providing 25 Gb/s throughput. This ensures high-speed connectivity to the local network, enabling the Enterprise NVR Core to handle such a large number of cameras.
