TP-Link TL-WR740N is a wireless access point with a router and a firewall operating in 802.11b/g/n standard at a rate of up to 150Mbps. The device is equipped with an integrated antenna (gain 5dBi).

TL-WR740N is equipped with a 4-port switch 10/100 Mbps and also with a WAN port thanks to which it cooperates with cable modems, xDSL as well as LAN networks.
The LAN transmission has got not only WEP encoding but also a safe authorization mechanism 802.11x. The router can be configured and managed with the help of a user-friendly interface accessible at a WWW browser.A QSS Button allows you to configure encoding quickly. The router also uses the CCA technology which helps you to avoid channel conflicts. The device has got QoS support thanks to which it is possible to to set priorities for particular services in order to improve the quality of VoIP connections or eliminate delays while playing network games.
The device provides an easy MAC address filtration, network address translation (NAT). It supports a broad range of protocols including PPoE.
