The TP-Link Archer T2U is a wireless network adapter with a USB connector. The device is dual-band - it can operate in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. It uses IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac in the 5 GHz band. Inside the housing, there is a built-in antenna with single polarization (SISO / single-chain); the maximum theoretical throughput can reach 150 Mbps (2.4 GHz) or 433 Mbps (5 GHz).

Archer T2U supports two separate Wi-Fi bands. Thanks to 256QAM technology, the device provides 33% higher network efficiency - the speed in the 2.4 GHz band is 200 Mbps instead of 150 Mbps. 433 Mbps in the 5 GHz band is ideal for HD video streaming and latency-sensitive online gaming, while 200 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band is perfect for everyday web browsing.
