The TP-Link Deco M4 is an Access Point designed for use in a TP-Link Mesh network. It can operate simultaneously on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, supporting IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac (5 GHz) standards. It is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, both of which can function as WAN or LAN. The maximum theoretical wireless connection throughput (according to the manufacturer) is 300 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. The access point has 2 built-in, dual-band omnidirectional antennas. Additional advantages improving the quality of wireless transmission include MU-MIMO technology, which allows for simultaneous sending and receiving of data from multiple devices, and Beamforming, which shapes the signal beam to direct the transmission.
