Description

The TP-Link Archer C6U is a dual-band, gigabit wireless router that provides a combined theoretical throughput of AC1200. It operates on the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard, achieving speeds up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. The router is equipped with one gigabit WAN port and four gigabit LAN ports for wired connections. The device also features one USB 2.0 port for file sharing, FTP server, or media server functionality. Four external antennas are responsible for coverage. The router uses MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology, enabling efficient communication with multiple devices simultaneously. It supports Access Point Mode and has built-in security features, including WPA/WPA2 encryption and an SPI firewall. Configuration and management are done via a web interface or the Tether mobile application.

Non-Stop Entertainment with AC1200 Dual-Band Network

The Archer C6U router offers a stable and fast network based on the 802.11ac standard. This allows for the use of everyday, less demanding applications such as email and web browsing via the 2.4 GHz connection with a speed of 300 Mbps, while simultaneously utilizing the 5 GHz band (867 Mbps) for more demanding applications such as HD video streaming or online gaming.

Wi-Fi Coverage Throughout the Home

Four external antennas and one internal antenna will deliver the Wi-Fi signal to every corner of your home. Don't worry about network availability and enjoy a fast connection whether you're lounging on the couch or relaxing on the balcony. Beamforming technology allows the detection of devices and the transmission of a strong Wi-Fi signal towards them, even if they are in a distant location or have a low power level.

More Simultaneous Connections

Thanks to MU-MIMO technology, the Archer C6U can handle multiple devices simultaneously. No more network overloads and lags! Devices are serviced faster, and wireless connection performance is significantly greater.

Fast Connectivity and Easy Sharing

Gigabit Ethernet ports provide maximum wired speeds. Connect your computer, smart TV, or gaming console and enjoy reliable connections. The USB 2 port is a great aid for sharing files, photos, videos, and much more.

It's Also an Access Point

The Archer C6U supports AP mode. When you enable it, wireless devices will easily access the wired network.

Easy Management with the Tether App

The free Tether app can be downloaded on any Android or iOS device. This allows you to easily configure router and network settings.

*Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput and wireless coverage are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of 1) environmental factors, including building materials, physical objects, and obstacles, 2) network conditions, including local interference, volume and density of traffic, product location, network complexity, and network overhead, and 3) client limitations, including rated performance, location, connection, quality, and client condition.

*Use of MU-MIMO requires clients to also support MU-MIMO.
