Mimosa C5x is a complete wireless device designed to operate in the 4900 - 6400 MHz frequency range. The offered product is the IP67 version, it is distinguished by better resistance to weather conditions than the basic version. It has a built-in antenna with an energy gain of 8 dBi and a twist-on connector compatible with Mimosa antennas. Depending on your needs, you can equip the C5x with an additional antenna from the N5-X series. The maximum transmitting power of the radio is 27 dBm. The device uses 2x2 MIMO OFDM, 256 QAM modulation and 20 / 40 / 80 MHz wide channels. Thanks to this, the maximum connection throughput reaches 700 Mb/s, and with the use of C5x you can offer subscribers high data packages. The offered product can work as a client in PTMP (point-to-multipoint) or PTP (point-to-point) mode. You can use it as a high capacity backhaul connection at a relatively low price.
You can mount the device on a pole using two metal clamps. The manufacturer has used a gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which allows for high wireless throughput. The Ethernet port also serves as a PoE (passive) power input, the input voltage range is 24 - 56 V DC. The maximum power consumption is 12.9 W.
PTP backhoul / PTMP client
Mimosa C5x can work in PTP mode (point-to-point) or as a PTMP client (point-to-multipoint). Thanks to the use of 2x2 MIMO OFDMA and 256 QAM modulation, it is distinguished by high throughput, which reaches 700 Mb/s. You can use the C5x for an efficient PTP connection at a relatively low cost. However, the main mode of operation remains the PTMP client, in a network built on Mimosa products you can deliver large data packets to subscribers without worrying about performance.
The use of C5x devices in conjunction with the appropriate base station will be perfect for any wireless network. Large data packages will meet the requirements of subscribers in places where there is no simple possibility to connect customers with a fiber optic cable. High and, above all, stable bandwidth will provide better access to Internet resources than in the case of 4G / LTE mobile transmissions, thanks to which you will avoid subscribers switching to this type of network.
High radio performance
The device is distinguished by a very high resistance to interference and a low level of side lobes. This was achieved thanks to the use of a metal housing that acts as an anti-interference shield. At the same time, the compatible N5-X series antennas feature a directional beam shape and are capable of isolating interference.
The C5x has a built-in 8dBi gain antenna, but is equipped with a twist-on radio connector. You can combine the radio with one of the N5-X series antennas, which are available in 12, 16, 20 and 25 dBi. The antenna is simply and quickly screwed directly onto the radio, without the use of additional cables and bracets. All elements have been designed to facilitate the installer's work as much as possible.
Universal solution, frequency 4900 - 6400 MHz
The offered product supports a very large frequency range, from 4900 to 6400 MHz. Depending on local regulations, you may therefore use bands other than those used by competing 5 GHz solutions. All N5-X series antennas also support a large frequency range, so you don't have to worry about their operation in extreme bands.
C5x is a universal solution that will work in many situations. Thanks to the built-in antenna, you can connect the nearest subscribers even without an additional external antenna. You can connect clients further away from the base station using one of the N5-X series products. Thanks to this solution, each subscriber has the same device, which ensures network integration and unification.High durability, PoE power supply

The offered product has 1 gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), which also serves as a power input. The C5x supports passive PoE, the input voltage range is 24 - 56 V DC, and the maximum power consumption is 12.9 W.
