IP-COM Pro-6-LR is an access point that supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It can work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, uses IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5GHz. It supports 2x2 MIMO, 160 MHz channel width and 1024QAM modulation. Thanks to this, the maximum theoretical throughput is 3000 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz. The Wi-Fi 6 standard, in addition to high transmission speed, also introduces other useful functions - MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmission and reception of data from many clients, which eliminates the phenomenon of transmission queuing), Beamforming (beamforming to improve coverage) and WPA3 encryption. The access point has 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Mb/s, on the first of them there is a PoE power input in the IEEE 802.3at standard. Inside the housing there are 4 omnidirectional antennas with a gain of 4 dBi.
The offered product is adapted to be used in the ProFi network and managed with the ProFi Controller. This controller enables centralized management of multiple access points and other devices from a single panel. All APs within one network broadcast Wi-Fi visible under one name (SSID), and when moving between individual points you are seamlessly switched without losing bandwidth. This type of network is perfect for large homes, companies, hotels, restaurants and boarding houses. By connecting multiple access points, you can cover very large areas.
Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 wireless network
IP-COM Pro-6-LR uses the Wi-Fi 6 wireless network, it can work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. Supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5 GHz. The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 3000 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz.
You can achieve such high throughput thanks to the use of 2x2 MIMO and channels with a width of up to 160 MHz.
Gigabit Ethernet ports, PoE power
The device has 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), one of them serves as the power input. Wi-Fi is not limited by the bandwidth of the Ethernet ports.
The access point can be powered using PoE in the IEEE 802.3at standard. The maximum power consumption is 15.74 W.
WPA3 encryption, modern features
The offered product uses modern WPA3 encryption, which significantly improves the security of the wireless network. The access point also supports many functions that improve the quality of transmission: MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmission and reception of data from many clients, which eliminates the phenomenon of data queuing), Beamforming (beamforming to improve coverage), BBS coloring or TWT (putting connected clients to sleep and turning on in order to reduce energy consumption).
Long range, seamless roaming
IP-COM Pro-6-LR has a much better range than competing solutions. It has built-in omnidirectional antennas with a gain of 4 dBi. It is also characterized by high resistance to interference, which often occurs in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Supports Beamforming - shaping the beam to improve range. All these elements make the signal cope well with obstacles and is stable.
The device supports IEEE 802.11 k/v standards ensuring smooth data roaming. If you use more than one access point in your network, you will not experience bandwidth drops or delay increases when moving between them.
ProFi system
ProFi is a platform that allows centralized management of multiple devices from a single panel. You can easily add new devices to the network, update the software and change the configuration. You also have live access to network statistics. Not only access points, but also selected IP-COM switches are compatible with the ProFi system.
