The maximum power per port, in accordance with the standard, is 30 W, the total power budget is 92 W. Thanks to gigabit ports, the switch is perfect for powering access points. On the other hand, the SFP slot will allow you to connect the device over a distance of more than 100 m. The offered product is distinguished by good overvoltage protection. the total switching capacity is 20 Gb/s, and the packet forwarding speed is 14.9 Mp/s.

The switch is equipped with 9 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 1 SFP slot (1 Gb/s). The total switching capacity is 20 Gb/s, the device allows you to create a stable high-speed transmission. TEG1110PF-8-102W can be successfully used in networks consisting of access points equipped with gigabit ports and modern Wi-Fi standards.
8 PoE outputs, 92W power budget
On 8 Ethernet ports (1 - 8) there is a PoE power output in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. The maximum power, according to the standard, is 15.4 W per port for 802.3af devices and 30 W for 802.3at devices. This type of power supply is widely used in ICT devices, monitoring systems and VoIP phones.
The maximum PoE power budget (for all ports) is 92 W. An additional advantage is intelligent power management, in the event of too much power load, the ports with the lowest priority are cut off first. This feature will keep your critical devices powered even when your power budget is exceeded.
Multiple uses
Thanks to the additional gigabit Ethernet port and SFP slot, the switch will work in many networks. Using a fiber optic connection, you can create a transmission over a very long distance, e.g. if you need to connect distant cameras. Thanks to gigabit ports, the possibilities of the TEG1110PF-8-102W are not limited to monitoring networks and VoIP phones. You will successfully connect modern access points to the switch.
Three operating modes
Tenda TEG1110PF-8-102W does not have any management, but has been equipped with three operating modes. You can change the mode with a physical switch located on the front of the housing.
Modes:
- "Standard" - the device works like a regular switch, all ports can communicate with each other.
- "VLAN" - ports 1 - 8 are isolated from each other and can only communicate with ports 9 - 10.
- "Extend" - all ports can communicate with each other, the bandwidth of ports 1 - 8 is limited, but their transmission range is increased to 250 m. This function is useful in IP monitoring networks.
The offered product is best suited for IP monitoring networks or VoIP telephones. When connecting access points, you may need to limit the number of access points in order not to exceed the PoE power budget.
Overvoltage protection
All Ethernet ports and the power supply have surge protection at the level of 6 kV. Your network is protected against sudden power surges, even with a relatively strong overvoltage, the connected devices should not be damaged.
