MikroTik Chateau LTE6 is a wireless Wi-Fi 5 router with a built-in LTE cat. 6 modem. It can work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) and IEEE 802.11 a/ n/ac (5GHz). The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 1200 Mb/s - 300 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. The built-in LTE modem (FG621-EA) is backwards compatible with 3G standards. Category 6 transmission offers a theoretical throughput of 300 Mb/s when downloading data and 50 Mb/s when uploading. The device provides great opportunities and high LTE / Wi-Fi speeds while maintaining an attractive price.
The offered product is equipped with a quad-core ARM IPQ-4019 processor clocked at 716 MHz and 256 MB of RAM. It is distinguished by much higher efficiency than standard LTE solutions, it can handle advanced routing even with many clients at the same time. The router has 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) and 1 USB port. An additional advantage is the ability to connect external antennas / LTE antenna to improve coverage.
Wi-Fi 5 AC1200 wireless network
The device can transmit a wireless network in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, in the Wi-Fi 5 standard. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac in 5 GHz. The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 1200 Mb/s - 300 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mb/s in 5 GHz. The router is equipped with integrated antennas with a gain of 2 dBi (2.4 GHz) / 4 dBi (5 GHz).
Integrated Cat 6 LTE modem
The offered product has an integrated LTE cat. 6 modem. It supports a theoretical throughput of 300 Mb/s when downloading data and 50 Mb/s when uploading. Simultaneously aggregates 2 transmission bands, supports all bands popular in Europe. The device is also backwards compatible with the 3G standard.
5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 USB port
The router has 5 gigabit Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Mb/s to which you can connect the most demanding devices. The use of USB additionally expands the possibilities. You can use Chateau LTE6 as a standard router and connect the signal to it using an Ethernet cable. In this case, the LTE interface can be used as a backup connection, which will be used in the event of failure of the main connection.
Possibility to connect external LTE antennas
On the back of the housing you will find 2 SMA connectors, which are used to connect external LTE antennas. You can use HGO-LTE or a more powerful antenna, e.g. MTAO.
This capability is very useful in rural and suburban areas where the distance to the LTE mast can be considerable. Connecting an external antenna will significantly improve the range and thus the transmission quality.
High performance, RouterOS level 4 system
Chateau LTE6 stands out from the competition with very high efficiency. It is equipped with a quad-core ARM processor clocked at 716 MHz and 256 MB of RAM. It provides much more performance than ordinary LTE routers.
The RouterOS system with a Level 4 license offers great management capabilities. You can use all the options known from MikroTika devices.
