The Cablemedia ZA100 is a device designed to protect the connected battery from excessive discharge. It is compatible with voltages ranging from 9 to 15 volts and 20 to 30 volts DC, and it automatically detects the voltage upon connection. It can handle currents up to 100 amperes. You can set the lowest voltage at which the battery will be disconnected using the button located on the PCB. The voltage settings are listed in the specifications (in the table below the description). When the device detects that the voltage has dropped too low, it disconnects the power supply. Additionally, there is protection against current flow in both directions of the circuit after disconnection. The ZA100 will automatically turn on when it detects a voltage higher than 12.7 volts.
The offered product is ideal for use with any backup power system and is particularly valuable when you are using expensive high-capacity batteries.
The ZA100 version comes with additional features that are not present in the ZA50. It includes a "monitor" (MON) input for compensatory voltage measurement and an extra input for remote activation.
