Description

The Ubiquiti UA-G2-Black is an NFC card reader designed for the UniFi Access system. The device features an outdoor-ready enclosure with an IP55 protection rating, making it suitable for external building mounting. You can install the reader at the entrance of a building, allowing individuals to access doors using NFC cards. The device also includes a built-in speaker capable of playing messages upon entry or exit.

NFC reader, built-in speaker

The Ubiquiti UA-G2-Black features a built-in NFC card reader. In addition to opening doors using the traditional card method, you can also use the handwave function (activated by waving your hand, specifically designed for use when exiting) or the UniFi Access app.

An added benefit is the built-in speaker. You can use it for voice messages that will be played during entry or exit.

In-wall mounting, Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The offered product is designed for wall mounting, and in the package, you will find anchors and other necessary accessories. The UA-G2-Black can be mounted directly on the wall or on an electrical box.

At the back, there is 1 fast Ethernet port (10/100 Mb/s), which also serves as the Power over Ethernet (PoE) input. The device supports a voltage of 48 V, with a maximum power consumption of 5 W.

UniFi Access platform

The product collaborates with the UniFi Access platform, enabling centralized management of multiple devices. Access to UniFi Access can be obtained through a program available on PC or a mobile application for Android/iOS devices. You can access various sensors and readers through a single application. UniFi Access also allows for full configuration and management of connected devices.
