Ubiquiti UISP-S-Plus is a managed switch designed to operate in the UISP system. It comes with 4 ports of 2.5G Ethernet (1 / 2.5 Gb/s) and 4 SFP+ slots (1 / 10 Gb/s). All Ethernet ports feature PoE (passive) output at 27 V DC. The total PoE power budget is 160 W. The applied voltage allows you to connect various Ubiquiti wireless devices to UISP-S-Plus. The switch's total switching capacity is 50 Gb/s, and the packet forwarding rate is 74.4 Mp/s. With the included accessories, you can mount the device on the wall or in a 19" Rack cabinet. Additionally, it comes with legs, so you can place UISP-S-Plus on a desk or shelf.
UISP managed switch
The offered product is adapted to work under the control of the UISP system. This platform allows centralized management of multiple devices, along with network monitoring and visualization. Additionally, UISP features an integrated CRM module for assigning subscribers and services. The UISP system streamlines network management, providing operators with all the tools they need. The UISP Switch Plus utilizes essential management functions such as port isolation, bandwidth limiting, and DHCP Snooping.
4x 2.5GE ports, 4x SFP+ slots
The switch is equipped with 4 ports of 2.5G Ethernet (1 / 2.5 Gb/s) and 4 SFP+ slots (1 / 10 Gb/s). The total throughput is 50 Gb/s, and the packet forwarding speed is 74.4 Mp/s.
The operation is handled by a dual-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. It ensures efficient performance even under high loads. The processor used is significantly more powerful than in similar solutions from competing manufacturers.
4x PoE outputs
On ports 1-4 (all Ethernet), there is PoE (Power over Ethernet) output. The switch supports passive PoE, and the voltage is delivered on 2 or 4 pairs. The output voltage is 27 V DC, with a maximum power per port of 20 W when using 2 pairs or 40 W when using 4 pairs. The total power budget (when using the included power supply) is 160 W.
Passive PoE is still widely used, especially in wireless devices from Ubiquiti. UISP Switch Plus is well-suited for use in conjunction with solutions that leverage 2.5G Ethernet ports.
2 power inputs, wall-mount or Rack-mount
At the back of the enclosure, there are two power input options - a standard DC socket and TransPort. The package includes a power supply with a DC plug. The use of two ports allows for power redundancy, where one port takes over in case of a failure in the other.
Using the accessories included in the package, you can mount UISP-S-Plus on the wall or in a 19" Rack cabinet. The package also includes feet, which will be useful if you want to place the switch on a shelf or desk.
