TP-Link Deco X50-PoE is a Wi-Fi 6 access point that supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. The device is equipped with 1 2.5G Ethernet port and 1 gigabit Ethernet port, both supporting WAN/LAN mode and automatic detection of connection type (maximum of 1 WAN at a time). Additionally, the 2.5G Ethernet port features IEEE 802.3at PoE input. The access point can be powered using an Ethernet cable, simplifying installation in large locations. Deco X50-PoE is designed for use in a Mesh system. It can connect to other access points to create a unified, extensive wireless network. Such a network is seen under one name, and as you move between devices, you are automatically switched without signal loss. Individual access points can be wirelessly connected to each other, eliminating the need for additional Ethernet cables.

Universal housing
The device comes with a housing suitable for various types of mounting. Deco X50-PoE can be placed on a desk/shelf, mounted on a wall, or ceiling. Utilize the installation method that suits your needs in the given location.
Wi-Fi 6 standard
The Deco X50-PoE utilizes the Wi-Fi 6 standard and can transmit networks on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. By employing 1024-QAM modulation and channels up to 160 MHz wide (in the 5 GHz band), it provides significantly higher throughput than the older Wi-Fi 5 standard. It also introduces new, more secure data encryption and additional features to improve network performance with multiple connected users. The Deco X50-PoE is backward compatible with Wi-Fi 5/Wi-Fi 4 and older solutions.
Dual band AX3000 network
The access point can transmit wireless networks on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. It utilizes the Wi-Fi 6 standard, including the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax protocols in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. This speed will meet the expectations of even the most demanding users, allowing you to comfortably use the internet, play online games without issues, or quickly download very large files.
2.5G Ethernet port
The device is equipped with a 2.5G Ethernet port, providing a throughput of up to 2500 Mb/s. You can deliver a high-speed signal to the Deco X50-PoE or connect demanding devices, such as a NAS server, as LAN. Additionally, the access point features a gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s).
Power over Ethernet (802.3at)
The 2.5G Ethernet port features Power over Ethernet (PoE) input, compliant with the IEEE 802.3at standard. This standard is widely used in telecommunications and is employed in devices from various manufacturers. By utilizing PoE, you can deliver both data and power using an Ethernet cable. This reduces the number of cables required and simplifies installation.
Long range

The Deco X50-PoE can handle up to 150 client devices simultaneously, making it well-equipped to manage heavy loads that may arise, especially in homes using Smart Home solutions. AI algorythms
Deco relies on algorithms based on artificial intelligence to manage its wireless network efficiently. The device learns how users move around their home to seamlessly switch them between access points for optimal performance. The network dynamically adjusts to various interferences, ensuring a stable connection. If communication between two access points is disrupted, the Deco system attempts to establish an alternative connection to maintain Wi-Fi performance without interruption.
Seamless roaming
The Deco access points create a unified wireless network, presenting users with a single network name regardless of the number of bands or access points. The system autonomously determines which device you are currently connected to, ensuring you receive the best signal as you move between access points.
