The Tinycontrol LAN Controller v4 LTE is a device designed for remote control of connected sensors. It has a built-in web server and differs from the standard version by incorporating an LTE modem and a nanoSIM slot. For communication, you can use the standard fast Ethernet/Wi-Fi port or a cellular connection with a SIM card from a provider. This facilitates data reading from sensors in locations where standard transmission is unavailable. The device supports SNMP, HTTP, and MQTT protocols, as well as encrypted connections.
The controller features 2 analog inputs for measuring voltage, DC current, and AC current; 1 analog input for measuring voltage, DC current, AC current, pressure sensors, thermocouples, distance sensors, and more; and 1 digital input in the 1-wire/I2C standard for connecting various types of sensors. The software allows you to remotely control collected data and implement remote control. You can create schedules using time-based events or an event table based on one of three conditions.
The controller is equipped with 3 PWM outputs (1 Hz - 1 MHz), 1 transistor output (for controlling receivers with a current draw up to 0.6 A), and 4 open-collector (OC) outputs for activating relays. Power can be supplied to the device via PoE (passive or 802.3 af standard) or a standard DC socket. The input voltage range is 8 - 58 V, with a maximum power consumption (without activated relays) of 0.5 W.
Wi-Fi / Ethernet communication, built-in LTE modem
The LAN Controller v4 LTE features 1 fast Ethernet port (10/100 Mb/s) and a Wi-Fi interface (802.11n). Additionally, unlike the standard version, it is equipped with a built-in LTE modem. This allows for communication in locations where standard transmission is unavailable and eliminates the need for external modems.
Built-in WWW server
The offered product has a built-in web server, providing convenient and easy management through a graphical interface. It is also possible to send commands using HTTP or MQTT.
Inputs / outpust
The controller has been equipped with interfaces:
- Modbus (block blcok)
- Logic inputs (blue block)
- Analog inputs (orange blocks)
- Relay output (green block)
- Transistor output (light green block)
- 1-Wire / I2C (RJ11 port)
- OC / PWM outputs (connectors next to the DC socket)
Advanced management
The device allows programming operations based on logical operators and events. For example, upon detecting a high temperature, you can trigger an event such as sending an email or SMS. There are numerous configuration options available, depending on the sensors used.
The scheduler will allow you to plan events that are meant to occur regularly. For example, you can reset the energy meter used to track daily consumption every day.
The outputs allow for configuring the return time (automatically changing the output state to the opposite after the specified time from the first change), periodic switching (periodically turning on and off), and outputs after startup (delay in activation after power restoration).
