Description

The TP-Link RE815XE is a Wi-Fi signal extender compatible with the Wi-Fi 6E standard. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band, IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band, and IEEE 802.11 ax in the 6 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, 2402 Mbps in the 5 GHz band, and 2402 Mbps in the 6 GHz band. The device is primarily used to extend the range of an existing wireless network. You can pair it with any router, and the RE815XE will create a separate network with a similar name, significantly increasing the transmission range. The extender is equipped with 4 external omnidirectional antennas and supports Beamforming, allowing the beam to be directed toward the user. The RE815XE can also function as an access point, with a single gigabit Ethernet port available for connecting an internet signal.

The key advantage of the offered product is its compatibility with TP-Link OneMesh technology. The RE815XE operates like a standard Mesh access point—extending the network and increasing its range while supporting data roaming. The extender is plugged directly into an electrical outlet, taking up minimal space. Configuration can be done using the Tether app, available for iOS and Android mobile devices.

Wi-Fi 6E

The device is designed to transmit networks in the Wi-Fi 6E standard, supporting three bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz. This allows for significantly higher throughput compared to Wi-Fi 6 solutions. Additionally, the 6 GHz band is much less crowded than the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, resulting in fewer interferences.

AXE5400 throughput

The Wi-Fi signal booster utilizes IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band, IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band, and IEEE 802.11 ax in the 6 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, 2402 Mbps in the 5 GHz band, and 2402 Mbps in the 6 GHz band. This represents nearly twice the speed compared to Wi-Fi 6 solutions. Due to its tri-band transmission capability, the RE815XE is an excellent solution for demanding users. An additional benefit is its ability to connect up to 96 client devices simultaneously.

Large range

The primary use of the RE815XE is to extend the range of an existing wireless network. It is compatible with most routers available on the market, but it performs best when paired with another Wi-Fi 6E compatible solution. Its extensive coverage is ensured by 4 external omnidirectional antennas and 6 high-power FEM amplifiers. The device also supports Beamforming, which shapes the signal beam to direct it towards the user, enhancing signal strength and stability.

TP-Link OneMesh

The offered product is compatible with the TP-Link OneMesh standard. It allows for creating a Mesh network using compatible devices. Individual devices within the network communicate wirelessly without the need for Ethernet cables. The Mesh network appears to the user under a single name, regardless of the number of bands and access points used. The system automatically decides to which device the user is connected at any given time. As you move around your home, you will be automatically switched between access points without losing internet access. Mesh networks are capable of covering very large areas, making them ideal for large homes and offices.

Access Point Mode

The offered product supports Access Point mode and can transmit its own Wi-Fi network. It features a 1 gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which can be used as a WAN port. In repeater mode, the Ethernet port operates as a LAN port and can be used to connect a device that doesn't support Wi-Fi, such as a PC.

Simple management

You can easily manage the signal booster using the Tether app, available on iOS and Android devices. The RE815XE also features a WPS button for easy pairing without needing to configure software. Additionally, you can log in to the device using the classic method through the Web graphical interface.
