The Tapo C500 can record images in night mode while retaining color, allowing you to see more details and making it easier to identify potential intruders. The maximum recording range is 30 meters. You can enable Smart mode, where the camera will default to recording in black and white and switch to color mode upon detecting motion or a human presence.

IP65

The device is fully equipped for outdoor installation, with a protection rating of IP65. It is constructed with UV-resistant materials, and the interior of the camera is protected against water and dust intrusion.

Active Alarm

The alarm feature allows the camera to emit a loud sound and display a visual signal. This is designed to deter potential intruders who have entered your property.

microSD slot

The offered product features a microSD slot that can accommodate a card with a maximum capacity of 512 GB. Recordings can be saved on the memory card for later playback. Using a 512 GB card allows you to store recordings for approximately 35 days. Alternatively, you can opt for cloud storage with Tapo Care; to use the cloud service, you need to purchase a subscription.

Pole / ceiling / wall mounting

Using the included mount, you can install the camera on a wall, ceiling, or pole. For pole mounting, a separate cable tie must be purchased.
