TP-Link Archer AX80 is a wireless router operating simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax protocols in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical wireless throughput is 6000 Mbps – up to 4804 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 1148 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band. Such high performance is achieved through the use of 4x4 MIMO in both bands, allowing parallel transmission across multiple data streams. The router incorporates technologies characteristic of the Wi-Fi 6 standard, such as OFDMA, Beamforming, and Airtime Fairness, which improve network efficiency and connection stability when multiple devices are active. Coverage is provided by 8 external omnidirectional antennas, ensuring wide signal distribution. The device is equipped with 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (1× WAN and 4× LAN), enabling the creation of a high-performance wired network. An additional advantage of the Archer AX80 is its compatibility with the OneMesh system, which allows building a unified Mesh network composed of multiple TP-Link devices. With support for seamless roaming, users can move within the coverage area of different access points without experiencing throughput drops or connection interruptions.
