The Mercusys Halo H60X is a Mesh system consisting of 2 access points. The device is capable of operating in both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, supporting Wi-Fi 6 standard, including IEEE 802.11 b/g/n in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5 GHz. The maximum theoretical transmission throughput is 300 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mb/s in 5 GHz. Along with the Wi-Fi 6 standard, the H60X supports MU-MIMO (simultaneous data transmission and reception from multiple users), Beamforming (shaping the beam to improve range), and BSS Coloring (increasing interference resistance). An additional advantage is the new data encryption standard - WPA3. The central unit is equipped with 3 gigabit Ethernet ports (WAN/LAN), and the satellites have 2 gigabit Ethernet ports (LAN).

The devices support Mesh technology, communicating with each other wirelessly, eliminating the need for Ethernet cables to connect individual access points. Together, they form a single network that can cover a large area. The H60X supports protocols 802.11 k/v/r, ensuring smooth data roaming - transitioning between one access point and another should not result in Wi-Fi network slowdowns.

The beam is shaped in a way that, despite the weak range, it delivers a sufficiently strong signal to the client device.

Self-healing

In the event of a lost connection between access points, the system will attempt automatic repair and data transmission route changes. All of this is done to ensure continuity of the internet connection and proper network availability.

The application is available on mobile devices running Android/iOS. With its help, you can easily perform the initial configuration in a few steps. Simply take the devices out of the box, connect them to power and the internet source. Then, just follow the steps that will appear in the application.

Parental controls

The offered product supports parental control features. It allows you to create profiles that can be assigned to specific family members. Within a profile, access control and daily online time limits can be configured. Additionally, the H60X allows you to create a blacklist of blocked websites.

This is made possible, in part, by utilizing technologies such as OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) and MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output). Gigabit Ethernet ports

The main access point (router) is equipped with 3 gigabit Ethernet ports, each of which can operate as either WAN or LAN (only one WAN at a time). The device supports automatic detection of the connection type. Satellites are equipped with 2 gigabit Ethernet ports, which serve exclusively as LAN.

Easily extend your network

The offered product is compatible with any Mercusys Halo access point from the H series (not compatible with the S series). If you already have a network in place, you can easily expand it using the H60X. If the H60X is your first Mesh system, you don't have to worry about compatibility issues if you decide to expand your network in the future.
