The button is powered by a CR2032 battery, which ensures a long lifespan of over a year. The device's mounting is flexible, possible using the included wall plate, adhesive, or on a magnetic surface. Wireless communication operates in the 868/922 MHz band, and notably, the Tapo Hub is required (sold separately) for full functionality and management of smart features. The button is compatible with mobile operating systems iOS 10+ and Android 5.0+.
