Ubiquiti EAV-Fiber is a professional switch designed for use in Audio/Video transmission networks over Ethernet using fiber-optic cabling. It supports PTP timing, SMPTE ST 2110, SDVoE, AES67, and a high-precision OCXO clock to ensure accurate media synchronization. The switch features 20 × SFP+ slots with a throughput of 10 Gb/s and 2 × QSFP20 slots with a throughput of 100 Gb/s. This provides extremely high transmission speeds, directly translating into improved audio and video quality. Each SFP+ / QSFP28 port supports Etherlighting, allowing ports to be illuminated and managed via the application. The enclosure is designed for installation in a standard 19-inch rack. The package includes two hot-swappable 150 W power supply modules and four hot-swappable fan modules, also hot-swappable.

Redundant Cooling and Power Supply

The manufacturer has implemented two hot-swap power supply modules that can operate in a redundant configuration—if one fails, the other automatically takes over. Additionally, four hot-swap fan modules are included, allowing replacement without interrupting the operation of the entire device.
