Wi-Fi 4 (5 GHz, 802.11 n)

The device features a Wi-Fi 4 wireless interface, supports IEEE 802.11 a/n protocols in the 5 GHz band, and utilizes 2x2 MIMO. The maximum theoretical connection speed is 300 Mb/s.

Components

The RouterBOARD features an AR9342 processor with a single core running at 600 MHz. Additionally, the device has 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of integrated NAND memory. The RB912UAG-5HPnD comes with RouterOS pre-installed, including a Level 4 license.

The offered product has one gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which also serves as a passive PoE (Power over Ethernet) input. Additionally, power can be supplied via a DC jack, with an input voltage range of 8 - 30 V DC in both cases and a maximum power consumption of 12 W.

The miniPCIe slot allows for the installation of an additional card, adding another interface. With the SIM slot, it's possible to use cards that support mobile communication. An additional benefit is the USB port.

Usage

Thanks to the Level 4 license, the device supports AP mode, allowing it to function as a base station in point-to-multipoint connections or as a standard wireless router. Due to its design, the RB912UAG-5HPnD should be mounted in a compatible box, antenna, or enclosure. The additional interfaces (miniPCIe slot and USB port) expand the device's capabilities and simplify its customization.
