Summit BT17 v2 is a Full Outdoor radio link (for outdoor use, no IDU) operating in the 17 GHz band. The offered product is of the Low / High type - it has two different ODUs, unlike the UNI version where both radios are the same. The maximum transmission throughput in symmetric mode is 551/551 Mb / s. It can be obtained using the widest 80 MHz channel and the highest modulation - 256 QAM. The radio transmitting power is -25 to 10 dBm, both ODUs are equipped with 2 gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP slots.
The offered product is distinguished by a convenient configuration tool - the SMS application. The program is available in three forms - GUI for Windows and Linux platforms (only via Wine), WUI in a web browser (it only allows you to preview the work, without the possibility of changing the configuration) and MUI for Android and iOS platforms. From the manufacturer's website you can download a MIB file, there is also special software for designing connections and calculating the signal.
The devices are powered via PoE in the 802.3at standard or DC connector, power supplies are not included in the set. The maximum power consumption is 30W and the input voltage range (when using a DC jack) is 20-57V DC. You can connect up to 3 independent power sources to the device (PoE 1 and PoE 2 ports and a DC socket), in case of failure of one of them, the device will automatically switch to the next one.
The set includes 2 parabolic antennas with a diameter of 65 cm. The energy gain is 38 dBi, along with the antenna you get solid brackets on which the ODU is directly mounted.
We attach to the product 1 set of glands to protect the Ethernet ports (marked SET1) and SFP ports (marked SET2).
The most important features:
