The TP-Link TL-SG1005LP is an unmanaged Layer 2 (L2) desktop switch, designed for simple network expansion and powering of end devices in small offices or homes. The device offers 5 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mb/s) RJ45 ports. Of these, 4 ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE Out) functionality under the IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at (PoE+) standards, with a maximum total PoE power budget of 40 W. The switch features intelligent power management mechanisms that protect the device from overload by disconnecting power from the lowest-priority port when the budget is exceeded. This is a Plug and Play model that requires no configuration, offering auto-negotiation of speed and Auto MDI/MDIX functionality on all ports. The compact, metal enclosure and fanless design guarantee quiet operation and ease of desktop installation.

Switch Built for Multiple Applications 4 PoE+ Ports with a Total Power of 40 W
Compliance with the 802.3af/at PoE+ standard ensures the ability to offer up to 30 W of power on each PoE port. The 40 W total PoE power budget* of the switch, equipped with 4 PoE ports, is an ideal solution for monitoring systems, offices, dormitories, and small businesses, among others. The device is fully compatible with IP cameras, access points, IP phones, computers, printers, etc.

Plug and Play

Intelligent Power Consumption Management
When the total power consumption exceeds $40\text{ W}$, the intelligent power consumption management feature turns off power to the port with the lowest priority to ensure power supply to ports with higher priorities, thereby protecting the device from overload. This feature also enables automatic detection of the required PoE power for a given device and protects both PoE and non-PoE devices from damage.
Advanced Features for Increased Performance

Using the QoS service, network administrators can prioritize network traffic, ensuring smooth transmission of voice and video.
The IGMP Snooping function ensures optimal multimedia transmission, which significantly improves network performance and, consequently, the operation of services such as IPTV.

Durable Metal Casing
Protection for the switch's sensitive components is provided by a durable casing, made of high-quality metal. Such solid protection guarantees stable operation of the device for many years. The TL-SG1005LP is a reliable product, confirmed by numerous tests based on rigorous standards.
