Description

The TP-Link TL-SG2008P is a managed Layer 2 (L2) Smart switch from the JetStream series, intended for use in small business networks or home offices. The device offers 8 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mb/s) RJ45 ports. Of these, 4 ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE Out) functionality under the IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at (PoE+) standards, with a maximum total PoE power budget of 62 W. The switch provides advanced L2 features, such as static routing, VLAN support (including protocol- and MAC-based VLAN), L2/L3/L4 QoS, IGMP Snooping, and basic security functions such as 802.1X and Port Security. The device is compatible with the Omada SDN platform for centralized cloud management and features a compact, fanless design, which ensures silent operation and flexibility for mounting on a desk or wall.
