The Archer AX90 is a tri-band wireless router (AX6600) operating on the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard, offering a combined theoretical throughput of up to 6600 Mbps across its bands: 2.4 GHz (up to 574 Mbps) and two 5 GHz bands (1201 Mbps and 4804 Mbps). The router is equipped with one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (2.5GE) port which can function as a WAN or LAN port, and four Gigabit Ethernet (GE) ports, with the option of using one GE as an additional WAN port. The device features a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, eight external antennas, two USB ports (USB 3.0 and USB 2.0), and utilizes OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies for efficient handling of multiple devices, as well as the Smart Connect function for connection optimization. Security features are provided by TP-Link HomeShield.

Opt for Higher Speeds — Wired or Wireless
The Archer AX90 provides wireless connections with an impressive speed of 6.6 Gbps, but that's not all it can do. Equipping the router with a 2.5 Gbps port and a 1 Gbps port also provides wired connections. Therefore, the gigabit speeds offered by your internet service provider are not limited by the hardware capabilities. You can easily exceed the 1 Gbps barrier, and your devices will be able to operate at maximum efficiency. The two LAN/WAN ports offer wide configuration possibilities — allowing you to tailor network settings to your needs.
