The TP-Link EAP660 HD is a dual-band wireless access point designed for ceiling mounting, operating under the Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE $802.11\text{ax}$) standard. The device achieves an aggregated theoretical throughput of $3550\text{ Mb/s}$ (AX3600 class), which consists of speeds up to $1148\text{ Mb/s}$ on the $2.4\text{ GHz}$ band and up to $2402\text{ Mb/s}$ on the $5\text{ GHz}$ band, utilizing $1024-\text{QAM}$ modulation and HE160 channels. Wired connectivity is provided by a single $2.5$ Gigabit Ethernet ($2.5\text{ Gb/s}$) Uplink port, which accepts Power over Ethernet (PoE) power supply under the IEEE $802.3\text{at}$ (PoE+) standard. The Access Point utilizes OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies for effective management of radio resources in high-client-density environments. It is fully compatible with the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform, enabling its integration, centralized management, remote configuration, and monitoring within a cloud architecture. The device is equipped with internal antennas and is intended for indoor installation.
Four Times Greater Throughput for Demanding Environments
Thanks to the use of OFDMA and MU-MIMO Uplink and Downlink technologies, the EAP660 HD Access Point can achieve up to four times greater throughput in high data traffic environments compared to devices operating on the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard, which translates into the ability to connect a greater number of devices simultaneously. Leverage the potential of network hardware and significantly streamline your business operations.

Eight Data Streams for Blazing-Fast Speeds
New 802.11ax standard technologies, such as 1024QAM modulation and the Long OFDM Symbol, allow the EAP660 HD device to achieve unprecedented speeds: 2402 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band and 1148 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band, totaling 3550 Mb/s. Eight spatial streams mean a greater number of users accessing the network simultaneously, resulting in more efficient operation.

Omada SDN -- Even Smarter Cloud Solution for Business Networks
The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates the operation of network devices, including Access Points, switches, and gateways, providing access to a functional business network with higher performance, better security, and greater reliability.
Centralized Cloud Management:
Comprehensive central management of the entire network, divided across different locations, from a single interface -- anywhere and anytime.
2.5 GE PoE+ Port -- Optimal Wired Connectivity
The Access Point is equipped with a 2.5 GE port, which is why it so effectively meets the demand of connected devices for fast and efficient Wi-Fi connections. Thanks to the support for 802.3at PoE+ power supply, finding the appropriate location for the AP is also not difficult.

Seamless Roaming
The 802.11k/v roaming feature allows clients to automatically switch between Access Points that provide the highest speeds when the user changes their location - without interrupting ongoing activities, even those that are sensitive to interference, including VoIP or video conferencing.

Advanced Features Mean Greater Network Efficiency

Band Steering
Dual-band devices are automatically connected to the wider 5 GHz band, giving them access to faster connections.
Load Balancing
A network heavily loaded with data traffic operates smoothly and without disruptions even when many devices are connected to it.
Airtime Fairness
Improves network efficiency by limiting the inefficient use of band throughput.
Practical and Thoughtful Design Means Easy and Quick Installation
- Position
- Twist to Lock
Ceiling or wall mounting
(mounting kit included)

Guest Network Protection via SMS Authenticated Login
Advanced security is used to protect the guest network. The splash page grants internet access only to authorized users. SMS authentication simplifies the operation of the splash page so that guests who want to use your business network do not have to wait long to connect.
