Ubiquiti AF60-HD is a wireless device adapted to work in the 60 GHz band. Depending on local regulations, it can operate in the frequency of 57 - 66 GHz, the channel bandwidth is 2160 MHz. The device enables the channel bonding and the maximum use of a channel with a width of 4320 MHz. Thanks to this functionality, the maximum throughtput can be as high as 6 Gb/s. In order to achieve such high speed, the new airFiber, in addition to the standard gigabit Ethernet port, also has an SFP+ slot (10 Gb/s). According to the manufacturer, the maximum transmission range is 2 km. The device can only work in the bridge mode, with a 50/50 uplink / downlink ratio.

High performance
The device is equipped with a 4-core ARM processor, with 1.6 GHz frequency and 2 GB of DDR4 RAM memory. This translates into very high efficiency of the entire system, at the same time ensuring trouble-free operation. Thanks to the AF60-HD you will forget about situations where the CPU reaches 100% load with higher traffic!

Bandwidth up to 6 Gb / s, range up to 2 km
The AF60-HD enables the channel bonding, thanks to which it can use a channel with a total width of up to 4320 MHz. This allows for a bandwidth of as much as 6 Gb / s, much higher than in the case of competing solutions. The transmission is carried out in the interference-free 60 GHz band. The maximum transmission range can be 2 km, but you should be aware of the physical limitations of this frequency, especially the effect of precipitation.

To take full advantage of the offered wireless bandwidth, the device has been equipped with an SFP+ slot, with a speed of up to 10 Gb/s. In addition, the slot can also work in the 1 Gb/s mode, if necessary. The gigabit Ethernet port is also used as a PoE power input, supports 48 V DC voltage and power supply on 2 or 4 pairs (detailed information can be found in the description).
