The Dream Machine Special Edition (UDM SE) is an enterprise-grade UniFi OS Console capable of helping home and business owners alike seamlessly scale and manage their networks with high-speed, dual-WAN connectivity (10G SFP+ and 2.5GbE RJ45 ports), a Gigabit, PoE switch, and a network video recorder (NVR) with 128 GB of internal storage. Powered by UniFi OS, the UDM SE gives you full control of all your UniFi devices, including access points, Protect cameras, Talk phones, and Access readers. It's also a future-proof console since it will be able to run all upcoming UniFi OS applications. Engineered for end-to-end simplicity, the UDM SE features an integrated Bluetooth radio that streamlines the initial setup and configuration process, which can be completed in minutes with the UniFI Network application (web or mobile).
UniFi system
The offered product works under the control of UniFi software. UniFi enables centralized management of multiple devices from a single application. It was designed mainly to build a hotspot network consisting of access points, but also supports monitoring systems - the "Protect" series. With UniFi, you can build in a large network and then control it from one system. Thanks to this, every change of configuration, hotspot settings or firmware update is instant. The UniFi application is completely free, you can download it to your computer or as an application for mobile devices.
Efficient router
The device can act as a router. It was equipped with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and 4 GB of DDR4 RAM. Thanks to this, it is distinguished by high efficiency, according to the manufacturer's test (iPerf3), the IDS / IPS bandwidth reaches 3.5 Gb / s. Perfect for the company as the main router combined with the functionality of the UniFi gateway.
Net video recorder
UDM-SE can be used as a recorder in the UniFi Protect network. It is equipped with 1 slot for a 3.5" HDD, which you can use to save recordings. UDM-SE is perfect for small monitoring networks, e.g. in the office. Thanks to the all-in-one design, it can also be a router, recorder and the PoE switch.
Security-gateway
The offered product also functions as a controller / security-gateway of the UniFi system. It provides the same functionality as the Ubiquiti USG series devices. Increases the security of your network, including by being able to configure a site-to-site VPN connection. It is also possible to use UDM instead of Cloud-key controllers.
8x gigabit Ethernet ports, 1x 2.5G Ethernet port, 2x SFP+ slots (10G)
Ubiquiti UDM-SE has 8 gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 2.5G Ethernet port and 2 SFP + slots. The device supports 2 WAN ports, one on the 2.5GE interface and the other on the SFP + slot. This allows you to use two internet connections and configure them in fail-over mode. An additional advantage is the LCD touch screen, where you can find basic information about the operation of the device.
8x PoE 802.3af/at output
There is a PoE power output on all gigabit Ethernet ports. Interfaces 1-2 support the IEEEE 802.3at standard (30 W per port), and 3-8 the IEEE 802.3af standard (15.4 W per port). They will allow you to power devices from the UniFi series - access points and IP cameras. Built-in PoE switch significantly increases the capabilities of UDM-SE.
Internel AC power supply, RPS connector
The device is equipped with a built-in AC adapter with a power of 240 W. The router itself consumes a maximum of 50W of power, the rest is intended for use by PoE. The optional RPS connector can be used to connect the USP-RPS and introduce a backup power source. The housing of the device is adapted for installation in a 19 "rack, its height is 1U. It is made of aluminum and steel, it is distinguished by high durability.
