Ubiquiti UISP-R is a router equipped with 8 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 1 SFP slot. There is a PoE power output on each of the Ethernet ports, the device supports passive PoE with a voltage of 27 V DC. The maximum output power per port is 30 W, 110 W for the entire device. The router supports basic management functions, configuration takes place only through the centralized UISP platform. The maximum power consumption of the UISP-R itself is only 10 W, the set includes a 27 V DC, 4.4 A power supply.
8x GE, 1x SFP, high performance
The device has been equipped with 8 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 1 SFP slot. This is enough ports for most installations where you connect compatible radios. The SFP interface will allow you to transmit to the router via fiber optic cable, even over long distances. UISP-R is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 880 MHz and 512 MB of DDR3 RAM. It will work in many applications, not only operator, but also in small companies.
Passive PoE 27 V (8 ports)
Each Ethernet port has a 27V DC PoE (passive) power output. It is a popular voltage widely used in Ubiquiti (and not only) network equipment. The use of a slightly higher voltage of 27 V instead of 24 V eliminates voltage drops that may be caused by cable resistance, due to excessively long cable length or poor quality of wires.
Passive cooling, wall mounting possible
The offered product has passive cooling, thanks to which it is completely silent. It is also distinguished by low own power consumption - only 10 W. A desktop type casing with the possibility of wall mounting was used. The set includes a special wall mount and a 27 V DC, 4.4 A power supply.
Layer 2 management, UISP system
The router supports basic management functions, such as DHCP server, firewall configuration, changing PoE settings, and creating and restoring backups. The management panel is available only via centralized UISP platform. You can use the platform via a web browser or an application available for mobile devices. UISP is an advanced tool that allows you to manage your network in one place, in a convenient and transparent way. In addition to configuration, the platform also has functions related to subscriber accounts and payments.
