Ubiquiti Airgrid High Power is a complete radio system 802.11a/n MIMO 1x1 for 5GHz band. The use of the InnerFeed solution makes it possible to integrate the grid antenna radiator with a radio module and a router/access point. The antenna has 23dBi gain, the power of the radio module amounts to 25dBm. Thanks to it you can set a wireless connection at a distance of more than 30 km. The use of 802.11n MIMO 1x1 standard means that the actual TCP/IP capacity amounts to 100 Mbps.
AirGrid M5 High Power works in a Router or Bridge mode. The WiFi interface supports Access Point, Access Point WDS, Client, Client WDS modes. AirGrid cooperates with a platform based on the MikroTik RotuerOS system.
The device is equipped with an Atheros MIPS 24KC processor 400MHz clocked, 32MB SDRAM, 8MB Flash and one Ethernet10/100Mbps port. It is powered by a PoE AC. The power of the WiFi signal is presented with 4 LED diodes, to which you can assign suitable signal power indication. Inbuilt overvoltage/ESD protection prolongates faultless work of a device exposed to adverse effects of outdoor conditions.
The device is AirMax protocol compatible, which eliminates the problem of hidden stations by assigning to the devices time slots (TDMA) in which collision-free transmision is possible. It helps you to use maximum capacity even when tens of client stations are connected to the Access Point.
An antenna bracket with 2 U-Bolt clamps for atttaching the antenna to a mast is included.
AirGrid High Power is used for constructing effective wireless bridges or as a CPE set when the distance to the base station is considerable .
