Description

IP-COM G1116P-16-150W is a switch equipped with 16 gigabit Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Mb/s. On all ports there is a PoE power output in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. The maximum power per port, in accordance with the standard, is 30 W, the total power budget is 135 W. The switch is perfect as a basic device for systems consisting of access points. It provides high transmission capacity while maintaining an attractive price. 135W is enough power to power more than 10 access points. The offered product is distinguished by good overvoltage protection, its total switching capacity is 32 G/s, and the packet forwarding speed is 23.6 Mp/s.

16 gigabit Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Mb/s

The switch is equipped with 16 gigabit Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Mb/s, all of them have a PoE power output. An additional advantage is surge protection at the level of 6 kV, which protects all Ethernet ports and the power supply.

16 PoE outputs, 135 W power budget

On 16 Ethernet ports there is a PoE power output in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. The maximum power, according to the standard, is 15.4 W for 802.3af devices and 30 W for 802.3at devices. This type of power supply is widely used in ICT devices, monitoring systems and VoIP phones.

The maximum PoE power budget (for all ports) is 135 W. It should be enough to power 10-12 access points (depending on their maximum power consumption) or 16 IP cameras.

Four operating modes

IP-COM G1116P-16-150W does not have any management, but has been equipped with four operating modes. You can change the mode with a physical switch located on the front of the housing.

Modes:

  • "Standard" - the device works like a regular switch, all ports can communicate with each other.
  • "CCTV" - ports 1 - 8 have a higher priority of operation, all ports can communicate with each other.
  • "VLAN" - ports 1 - 14 are isolated from each other and can only communicate with ports 15 - 16.
  • "Isolation" - ports 1 - 14 and 15 - 16 are isolated, on two separate VLANs.

The offered product, thanks to gigabit Ethernet ports, is best suited for powering access points. The supported power budget will be enough to connect multiple devices, and the bandwidth of the ports will not limit the possibilities of Wi-Fi.

Modes

Standard: the switch functions as a common unmanaged switch and all the ports of the switch can communicate with each other.


CCTV: the port cache is optimized and PoE ports 1-8 have higher priorities over the other ports. All the ports of the switch can communicate with each other.


VLAN: ports 1 to 14 are isolated from each other, but can communicate with ports 15 and 16 (uplink ports) respectively.


Isolation:ports 1 to 14 and ports 15 to 16 belong to two different VLAN.This mode can be used to isolate supervision network and wireless network to make them not interfere with each other.
