IP-COM Pro-S24-410W is a managed switch equipped with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 4 SFP slots (1 Gb/s). On all Ethernet ports there is a PoE power output in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. The maximum power per port, in accordance with the standard, is 30 W, the total power budget is 370 W. The device offers Layer 3 management, including DHCP server, inter-VLAN routing, multicasts (IGMP Snooping) and advanced QoS function. You can manage the switch using ProFi Controller - a centralized platform for managing multiple devices. Thanks to this, the Pro-S24-410W is perfect for networks consisting of ProFi access points, especially due to the ability to power the connected APs. The total switching capacity is 56 Gb/s, and the packet forwarding speed is 41.7 Mp/s. The offered product is an ideal solution for a network built on the ProFi system. It provides very advanced management functions, so it can be used as a main switch, and it also has a PoE output and powers the connected access points.
24 gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 SFP slots
The switch is equipped with 24 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 4 SFP slots (1 Gb/s). Thanks to this, it is a universal solution that will work among many Internet operators and companies.
The device is equipped with a built-in power supply, the maximum power consumption is 410 W. The housing has been adapted for mounting in a 19" Rack cabinet.
24 PoE outputs, 370 W power budget
On all Ethernet ports there is a PoE power output in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. The maximum power, according to the standard, is 15.4 W for 802.3af devices and 30 W for 802.3at devices. This type of power supply is widely used in ICT devices, monitoring systems and VoIP phones.
The maximum PoE power budget (for all ports) is 370 W. It is enough to power 24 access points in the 802.3af standard, with higher power consumption you need to limit the number of connected devices.
High performance, 12Mb buffer
IP-COM Pro-S24-410W has a packet buffer of 12 Mb, which is larger than in competing solutions. Thanks to this, the device ensures stable operation and enables full throughput.
The total switching capacity is 56 Gb/s, and the packet forwarding speed is 41.7 Mp/s. The switch has a table with a capacity of up to 16k MAC addresses.
Layer 3 management
The offered product supports advanced management, also in the Layer 3 layer. It enables the use of inter-VLAN routing, static IPv4 routing as well as dynamic and static ARP. It also fully supports Layer 2 configuration, including VLANs (access/trunk/hybrid), port aggregation, Spanning Tree protocols (STP/RSTP/MSTP) and multicasts (IGMP Snooping).
ProFi system
ProFi is a platform that allows centralized management of multiple devices from a single panel. You can easily add new devices to the network, update the software and change the configuration. You also have live access to network statistics. Not only access points, but also selected IP-COM switches are compatible with the ProFi system.
