Description

Ubiquiti UVC-AI-Theta is an IP camera designed to work in the UniFi Protect system. It consists of two separate elements - the hub and the actual camera, in a pinhole housing. The set includes a 1 m long cable that is used to connect two devices. AI Theta is best suited for installation on a suspended or coffered ceiling. After mounting, the camera is practically invisible, only a small lens protrudes. The hub has its own mounting plate.

The set includes two lenses, the device can be adapted to your needs. The first of them supports a resolution of 8 Mpix (3264x2448px) and a viewing angle of 97.5 ° horizontal / 79.4 ° vertical, the second 12 Mpix (2560x2560px) and a viewing angle of 180 ° (Fisheye). The camera is perfect for shops and restaurants, it is universal and provides very high image quality.

An important, additional feature is the extensive functions of intelligent image analysis. It enables the recognition of movement, people, vehicles and license plates. Optionally, you can buy a module that equips the camera with a speaker and a microphone (module sold separately). Management takes place from the level of UniFi Protect, in the form of a PC program or an application for Android / iOS devices. The manufacturer suggests that AI Theta be used in conjunction with UniFi Dream Machine Pro or UniFi Protect Network Video Recorder.

Hub and two cameras

AI Theta consists of a Hub (central unit) and two cameras. You can connect one selected camera to the hub at a time. To connect, use the cable included in the set (length 1 m).

The first camera is equipped with an 8 Mpix (3264x2448px) lens with a viewing angle of 97.5° horizontally / 79.4° vertically (118.2° diagonal) and the second one with a 12 Mpix (2560x2560px) Fisheye lens - 180°.

Pinhole camera housing

The cameras have a pinhole housing and are designed for mounting in a previously prepared hole. For this reason, they will work best on suspended or coffered ceilings.

Once mounted at the destination, the camera becomes almost invisible. A bystander can only see the lens protruding from the hole. This is useful in some locations (e.g. restaurants) where you don't want the camera to disturb the decoration of the room.

Resolution 8 Mpix (3264x2448px) or 12 Mpix (2560x2560px)

You can use one of the two included cameras, depending on the needs of your location. Both have the same dimensions and are connected in the same way. Thanks to this, AI-Theta is a universal solution, adapted to various places.

The first camera has a lens with a resolution of 8 Mpix - 3264x2448 px. The viewing angle is 97.5° horizontally and 79.4° vertically, the diagonal is 118.2°.

The second camera has a Fiesheye lens with a resolution of 2560x2560 px. The viewing angle is 180°.

Intelligent image analysis

The offered product, in addition to basic functions, also supports intelligent image analysis. It can detect movement, people, vehicles or license plates. Thanks to advanced software, detection works over a greater distance than in competing solutions.

UniFi Protect platform

The camera works with the UniFi Protect platform, which enables centralized management of multiple devices. You can access UniFi Protect through a program available on a PC or an application for mobile devices with Android / iOS. The platform allows you to easily use the live view and playback of saved recordings. It also enables full configuration of connected devices and installation of new ones. UniFi Protect is very easy to expand, after the initial configuration, the system automatically detects the next connected devices and allows them to be connected very quickly.
