D-Link DIR-X1530/EE is a wireless router that supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It can work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, uses the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ ac/ax in 5GHz. The maximum theoretical throughput is 1500 Mb/s - 300 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 1202 Mb/s in 5 GHz. The DIR-X1530/EE also uses additional Wi-Fi 6 features - Beamforming (beamforming to improve range) and MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmitting and receiving data from multiple clients). The router uses 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps), including 1 WAN port and 3 LAN ports.
The offered product is distinguished by advanced management functions. First of all, it is compatible with the TR-069 protocol - you can connect it to the ACS server and use auto provisioning. It supports VLANs as well as IGMP Snooping, it will work very well in connection with IPTV. The DIR-X1530/EE allows you to create a PPTP / L2TP server, and also supports passthrough for IPsec / PPTP / L2TP / PPPoE. You can find the full list of features in the specification.
An additional advantage is compatibility with the EasyMesh standard. It is a universal standard that allows you to connect devices from different manufacturers within one Mesh network.
Wi-Fi 6 AX1500 wireless network
The router can transmit a wireless network in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, in the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It uses the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5 GHz. Thanks to this, the maximum theoretical bandwidth is 1500 Mb / s - 300 Mb / s in 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mb / s in 5 GHz. This is much faster than standard dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) routers. It ensures comfortable use of Internet resources, allows you to watch movies online in 4K resolution or quickly download large files.
Large transmission range
The DIR-X1530/EE has 4 external omnidirectional antennas, each with a gain of 5 dBi. In addition, in the 5 GHz band, it supports Beamforming - shaping the beam. This feature is very useful especially in places where the signal is weak. The beam is directed so as to provide users with access to the Internet despite the large distance from the router.
Multiple client devices simultaneously
The offered product supports MU-MIMO technology, which allows you to simultaneously transmit and receive data from many clients. Thanks to this, the phenomenon of data queuing disappears - in a traditional router, each of the connected clients was served in turn. This is a feature that significantly distinguishes the DIR-X1530 from older Wi-Fi 5 devices. If you use numerous wireless devices (in addition to computers and phones, they can be printers, Smart TVs or even IP cameras) you will feel a very large increase in network performance.
High performance, 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports
The router is equipped with 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps), including 3 LAN ports and 1 WAN port. They do not limit the possibilities of Wi-Fi and enable cable connection of the most important devices, such as a console, TV or NAS. The DIR-X1530 has a 900 MHz processor that allows for efficient routing and processing of large amounts of data. Provides high speed and stability of work.
Useful management features
The device supports numerous management functions that are useful for the end user. It offers full control over the network and information about logged in users. It allows you to create a special guest network that is separate from the main network. An additional advantage is parental control - you can set an online time limit per user or block unwanted websites. The DIR-X1530 will allow you to create a VPN server (PPTP / L2TP) or pass VPN traffic (IPsec/PPTP/L2TP/PPPoE).
ISP function support
D-Link DIR-X1530/EE supports the TR-069 protocol, so you can connect it to the ACS server and use auto provisioning. The router supports VLANs and IGMP Snooping, perfect for networks using IPTV. The offered product will be applicable to every operator. It will meet the requirements of most users, it is an excellent solution for xPON networks.
