IP-COM Pro-6-IW is an access point that supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It can work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, uses IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5GHz. It supports 2x2 MIMO, 160 MHz channel width and 1024QAM modulation. Thanks to this, the maximum theoretical throughput is 3000 Mb / s - 574 Mb / s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb / s in 5 GHz. The Wi-Fi 6 standard, in addition to high transmission speed, also introduces other useful functions - MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmission and reception of data from many clients, which eliminates the phenomenon of transmission queuing), Beamforming (beamforming to improve coverage) and WPA3 encryption. The access point has been adapted for wall mounting in the form of a socket. In the set you will find a special adhesive tape that will allow you to mount the Pro-6-IW without drilling or using dowels. The device has 2 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mb/s ports, one is located at the back and serves as the PoE power input (IEEE 802.3af standard), the other is located in the lower part of the housing. Inside the housing there are omnidirectional antennas with an energy gain of 4 dBi (2.4 Ghz) / 5 dBi (5 GHz).
The offered product is adapted to be used in the ProFi network and managed with the ProFi Controller. This controller enables centralized management of multiple access points and other devices from a single panel. All APs within one network broadcast Wi-Fi visible under one name (SSID), and when moving between individual points you are seamlessly switched without losing bandwidth. This type of network is perfect for large homes, companies, hotels, restaurants and boarding houses. By connecting multiple access points, you can cover very large areas.
Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 wireless network
The device can transmit a wireless network using the Wi-Fi 6 standard, in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. It supports the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical transmission throughput is 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mbps in the 5 GHz band.
Standard Wi-Fi 6 introduces several other useful features in addition to throughput. MU-MIMO enables simultaneous data reception and transmission to multiple clients, avoiding data queuing. Beamforming allows shaping the beam to improve transmission range. Additionally, the device supports the modern data encryption standard, WPA3.
Wall mounting, 2 gigabit Ethernet ports, PoE powering
Access Point UniFi 6-IW is designed for wall-mount installation. You can hang it using an electrical box or adhesive tape. At the back, there is a WAN/LAN port (Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps), which also serves as the Power over Ethernet (PoE) input. You can utilize the IEEE 802.3af standard.
In the bottom part of the enclosure, there is a LAN port (Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps) and a DC socket. The supported input voltage is 12V, with a maximum power consumption of 8.5W.
Large transmission range
The access point has built-in antennas with a gain of 4 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band and 5 dBi in the 5 GHz band. It provides good transmission range and obstacle penetration.
The device supports the IEEE 802.11 k/v/r standards, providing smooth roaming. While moving between access points, you should not experience any performance or throughput drops.
ProFi system
ProFi is a platform that enables centralized management of multiple devices from a single panel. You can easily add new devices to the network, update software, and change configurations. You also have real-time access to network statistics. ProFi is compatible not only with access points but also with selected IP-COM switches.
