The offered product is a new version of the wAP LTE device with the EC200A-EU modem (the older version had the R11e-LTE modem). It can transmit wireless networks according to the Wi-Fi 4 standard. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in the 2.4 GHz band, with a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps. The built-in modem is compatible with LTE Category 4 and older standards - 2G and 3G. When using LTE, the maximum theoretical throughput is 150 Mbps for data download and 50 Mbps for upload.
The device comes with a housing designed for outdoor installation. In the kit, you will find a bracket for wall or ceiling mounting, as well as a stand for shelf placement. The MikroTik wAP LTE features 1 fast Ethernet port (10/100 Mbps), which also serves as a passive PoE power input (9 - 30 V DC). You can also power it using a DC socket or an automotive connector. The device combines an attractive price with many possibilities. It allows for cost-effective creation of access points in any location with access to the cellular network.
LTE Category 4 mobile transmission
The MikroTik wAP LTE kit features a built-in LTE Category 4 modem (EC200A-EU). The maximum theoretical throughput of mobile transmission is 150 Mbps for downloading data and 50 Mbps for uploading. The device is backward compatible with 3G and 2G standards. It will function even if you are in a location without LTE coverage. Wi-Fi 4 (N300) transmission
The device allows for wireless network transmission in the 2.4 GHz band, compliant with the Wi-Fi 4 standard. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols, with a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps.
The router enables utilizing the speed offered by the LTE modem it uses. The wireless network throughput is sufficient for most user applications.
Watertight enclosure, 3 power supply options
The enclosure has been adapted for outdoor use, protecting the device from moisture and adverse weather conditions. The ports are secured with a closable flap.
In the wAP LTE kit, a single fast Ethernet port (10/100 Mbps) is utilized, which also serves as a passive PoE power input (9 - 30 V DC). For power connection, you can also use a standard DC socket or an automotive-type connector (9 - 30 V DC). The maximum power consumption is 7 W. The kit includes a 24 V DC power adapter and a PoE injector.
Various mounting options
With the accessories included in the kit, you can mount the device on the wall or ceiling. Inside the box, you'll find suitable brackets and mounting plugs. Additionally, the wAP LTE kit comes with a stand that allows for desktop-type mounting.
QCA9531 processor, RouterOS with a Level 4 license
The router is equipped with a QCA9531 processor (1 core) clocked at 650 MHz and 64 MB of DDR2 RAM. Additionally, it has a built-in Flash memory with a capacity of 16 MB.
The offered product comes with the preinstalled RouterOS (v7) system with a Level 4 license. This software is well-known from other MikroTik devices and stands out with advanced configuration capabilities, far richer than competitive solutions.
