8 gigabit Ethernet ports

The switch is equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) and has a switching capacity of 16 Gb/s. This means that each port can support up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet of traffic, and the switch can handle a total of 16 Gigabits of traffic per second.

PoE++ input, DC socket

You can power the device in two ways: using PoE+ / PoE++ or the DC socket. The first method is useful if you are installing the USW-Ultra in a hard-to-reach place or want to extend power delivery to IP cameras. If you intend to use the switch to power access points, you should use an external AC/DC power adapter with appropriate power capacity. The input voltage range is 44 - 57 V DC. A 60W power adapter is included in the package.

The maximum power consumption of the switch itself is only 9 W when using the PoE input or 8 W when using the DC input.

7 PoE+ outputs

The switch has 7 ports with PoE+ output. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at protocols, with a maximum output power per port of 15.4 W for 802.3af or 30 W for 802.3at. The power budget for the entire device is 52 W, thanks to the included 60 W power adapter. This allows you to power 3-4 devices operating on the 802.3af standard, depending on their power consumption.

Usage

Ubiquiti Ultra 60W is ideal for home networks and small offices. It offers PoE power and management features while maintaining an attractive price point. The included 60 W power adapter provides a power output budget of 52 W, which can support 3-4 devices using the 802.3af standard. This is sufficient for most home networks.
