The power supply requires connection to both data and AC power cables; on the output, data and power are delivered via an Ethernet cable. The device supports the 802.3bt type4 protocol, which provides very high power output—up to 90 W. An additional advantage is the built-in display, where you can find information about the current operating status—PoE standard in use, power, number of powering pairs, power consumption, operating temperature, and voltage. Thanks to the display, the IPM-90-550 can serve installers as a precise tool for measuring power and diagnosing PoE devices. It allows easy checking of power consumption, supported standards, and facilitates initial setup.

PoE Power Supply with Gigabit Ports

The offered product is a PoE power supply, where AC mains power (190 - 260 V AC) and data are connected at the input. At the device’s output, data and power are delivered via a standard Ethernet cable, up to a distance of 100 meters. The range largely depends on the quality of the cabling used. Thanks to the Gigabit ports, the power supply is suitable for connecting devices that require 1 Gbps bandwidth.

PoE+++, up to 90 W

The power supply uses the PoE+++ standard (802.3 af / at / bt type 3 / bt type 4), which offers a maximum power of up to 90 W. This is sufficient to power most devices and is ideal for connecting switches equipped with PoE input—providing them with a large power budget.

Display

The IPM-90-550 features a built-in LCD display where you can find the most important information about the device’s operating status. It shows: operating temperature, currently selected PoE standard, maximum power at the selected standard, number of pairs used for power delivery, voltage, and power consumption. Thanks to the display, the IPM-90-550 is excellent for diagnostics and measurement of PoE power systems. You can easily verify the power consumption of connected devices and the power standards they use.

Applications

The offered product can be used to power any PoE device supporting the 802.3bt type4 protocol or lower, with a Gigabit Ethernet port. However, it performs best when paired with ATTE switches that support PoE+++ on the input. This allows you to easily build a power network for multiple cameras or access points with a range of up to 200 meters.
