MikroTik GPERx6 is a switch designed for outdoor installation, featuring an IP66 protection rating. Its flexible design makes it a versatile solution for pole mounting. It is equipped with 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 3 SFP+ slots (10 Gb/s), providing high-capacity fiber connectivity, potentially over long distances. The GPERx6 can be powered via PoE++ (802.3bt) or a DC socket, with the latter supporting a wide input voltage range of 12–57 V DC. The switch provides 2 PoE+ outputs (802.3af/at) and 3 DC power outputs, allowing the connection of both PoE-enabled and non-PoE devices. Thanks to these features, the GPERx6 is suitable for a wide range of installations, including connecting base stations, IP cameras, sensors, or various IoT devices. Outdoor IP66 switch

The offered product is a switch with an IP66-rated enclosure designed for outdoor installation. Using the accessories included in the package, you can mount the GPERx6 on a pole or wall. The device runs SwOS and provides Layer 2 management. The manufacturer uses a switch chip known from other popular solutions, such as the netPower Lite 7R.

PoE++ (802.3bt) or DC power input

You can power the device using the PoE input (the manufacturer recommends the PoE++ 802.3bt standard) or the DC socket. In the latter case, the advantage is a very wide input voltage range: 12–57 V DC. The package does not include a power supply, which must be purchased separately.

2 PoE outputs, 3 DC outputs

One of the key advantages of the GPERx6 is its ability to power other devices. The switch has 2 PoE outputs (passive PoE) and 3 DC outputs. This allows you to connect and power devices that do not support PoE. The maximum total output current is 2.4 A for PoE-powered devices and 3.6 A when powered from the DC terminals.

3 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 3 SFP+ slots (10G)

The GPERx6 is equipped with 3 1G Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 3 SFP+ slots. This large number of interfaces provides flexibility and allows you to connect various types of devices, using either fiber optic cables or standard Ethernet cabling. An SFP+ slot combined with the DC socket enables the use of hybrid cables (fiber + copper), which can transmit both data and power over long distances.
