The RE235BE is a dual-band wireless range extender operating on the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard, designed to expand the coverage of an existing Wi-Fi network. The device offers a total theoretical throughput of up to 3.6 Gbps (BE3600), operating simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It utilizes Wi-Fi 7 technologies, including 4096-QAM (4K-QAM) modulation and channel bandwidth up to 160 MHz in the 5 GHz band, to increase data transmission efficiency and density in areas with weak signal coverage from the main router. The extender is equipped with one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port (2.5 Gbps), allowing for the connection of a wired device or the use of the extender in access point mode. It uses WPA3 encryption protocols and is configured via a web interface or a mobile application. Its function is to retransmit the signal from the router, not to serve as a main router (it does not manage IP addressing).
