Uplink GP8862 is an OLT terminal adapted for use in the GPON network. It is equipped with 8 PON ports, 8 uplink Gigabit Ethernet ports, 6 SFP (uplink) slots and 2 SFP + slots (also uplink). Fully supports multicast and IGMP Snooping, perfect for triple play service delivery.
The maximum split per port is 1: 128, so theoretically, when the GP8862 is fully populated, 1024 customers can be connected. The throughput per port is 2.5 Gb / s downstream and 1.25 Gb / s upstream. Approximately the device has the functionality of a managed switch, in addition to supporting DHCP (server / relay / snooping) and static routing and ARP proxy.
The GP8862 casing is adapted for installation in a 19 "Rack. An additional advantage of the device is the possibility of management via the web graphic interface.
The terminal has been tested by us to work with ONU / ONT terminals from other manufacturers! We have successfully combined the GP8862 with Tenda G103, Uplink FX660 and Huaweiem HG8245H. The device should also work with other Huaweia terminals.
