The offered product is a symmetrical sectorhorn type antenna from RF Elements. It has an energy gain of 13 dBi and a 60 ° wide beam (-6 dB for the beam). The modern technological solutions allow very good work even in noisy environments, without the need for additional covers. The beam width in the azimuth and elevation planes is the same, so that the transmission-covered zone has a symmetrical, round shape.
This solution allows for a much better range than standard sector antennas. In addition, if we set the device towards the ground, we can remove the dead zone located directly in its vicinity (this is well illustrated in the animation above).
The antenna is made of high quality materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and UV resistant plastic. The device has a degree of protection IP55, compared to classic sector antennas, it is distinguished by its small size, which makes it easier to install and does not need much space. The offered product uses N female connectors, no special adapters are needed.
A number of design improvements have been made to the V2 / Gen2 version. RF parameters such as beam path and energy gain in relation to frequency have been improved. The weight of the antenna has been reduced, and the cover is made of durable, better quality materials.
The most important features:
- symmetrical beam of round shape and 60 ° width;
- much better coverage than in conventional sector antennas;
- gain of approx. 13 dBi;
- frequency range: 5180 - 6400 MHz;
- N female connector;
- version V2 - improved performance parameters and materials of manufacture.
