The RE550 is a dual-band wireless signal booster (repeater), compliant with the Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard (Wi-Fi 5), designed to extend the range of an existing Wi-Fi network. The device operates simultaneously on the 2.4 GHz band (up to 600 Mbps) and the 5 GHz band (up to 1300 Mbps), offering a total theoretical throughput of up to 1900 Mbps (AC1900). It utilizes three external antenna technology for stable signal retransmission from the main router. It is equipped with one Gigabit Ethernet port (1 Gbps), which can be used to connect a wired device (e.g., a console) or allows the repeater to operate in Access Point (AP) mode. The device supports connection optimization features, such as Smart Connect, which automatically selects the optimal band for connected devices, and operates using 802.11k/v (Mesh) technology, ensuring seamless client handover between the router and the repeater. Configuration is done via a web interface or a mobile application.

Step 1: To connect to the network, press the WPS button on your router and — within 2 minutes — the WPS button on the RE550.
